I've used a Holley aluminum intake and it gets very hot to the touch. Idk if it really loses power. But it's definitely hotter to the touch than a plastic intake. And heavier. But works well. Most rwhp my car with ls6 intake made was 493rw n/a

What did it make with the Holley vs. the ls6?

2 different engines Holley intake used on cam and bolts on ls1
Ls6 used on 375ci 6.0 block crank and rods. With custom grind and self ported 243s SD tune bolts ons etc.
