I PS'd a concept just for a visual, as others have mentioned using your stock setup is possible if you make an elbow... something like this (ignore that this is the edelbrock, it was just for a visual concept, the GM intake is higher flow)...
Hood modification possibly??? (PS'd also)
I think its an outstanding idea, and breaks us all away from the expensive and restrictive LS1 intake design.

i cant judge if the intake is bad or not. most ford guys use it for high rpm cars, i guess i have wait and see when the engine is in the car and then dyno tested
