Default New MAP sensor gasket

I bought this car with a FAST 90/90.

I just removed the GM MAP and the orange rubber gasket is shot. This must have been causing problems.

Is there a better replacment rubber gromet out there or should I just go to the parts store and then the dealer?

GM sells it attached to the sensor. Best bet is a junkyard. Most new MAP sensors use the same grommet, steal one from them

Even worse GM says it is part of the intake manifold! Would I truck manifold have a usable gasket?

I guess I can go see in the bonyard tomorrow.

Look on Fleabay, you can buy a new map with the gasket under 20 dollars.

Yes a truck intake will use the gasket. Econo V6's in the JY will be quite a bit easier to come by and most have the new MAP sensors which use that grommet

Don't mean to bump an old thread, but this thread saved me some money from buying just the seal and not the whole sensor.
