TORCHD 02 TA ... Do you think the Power stick kills off any power ? I would like to add one to my intermediate pipe but I don't want to sacrifice any power.

It gets reduced going into the Powerstock. The Powerstick is 3" In/Out then it gets reduced again at the end of the I pipe going into the GMMG c/b

No there is ZERO HP loss.. The powerstick is a straight thru design muffler.. The trick is to install it against the grain.. That's what I did. and that's what killed my rasp

mmmmmm.......stainless.
Thanks for posting.
Did it change the sound much?

I haven't seen a small clamp at the merge like that one before. Is it holding up? Do you know what kind it is?
*EDIT* http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.c...s-Steel/Detail

Without even measuring, it looks like my/your cutout location isn't going to work with even a 16" muff.
So I may be going with Torched's location at the bend afterall....

Something I havent thought of. To adapt my Y to the merge, it looks like I'll at least need to get a couple of 3" 45 or 90 bends to cut up.
Probably aluminized steel instead of stainless to keep costs down.
So, I need 2- 3" and 1- 4". http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.c...-Degree/Detail
And one of these:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Unive...d=270409434974
And this:http://www.dynomax.com/mufflers.php?muffler=racebullet
And maybe a foot of this: for making the cutout straight off the bend or for whatever:http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.c...traight/Detail
And this:http://www.dmhperformance.com/ecutout.htm
I've already ordered the merge.

I still need a 4" flange for the cutout, but my head hurts from searching...
What else am I forgetting?....
Anyone know where I can get this crap cheaper?

I have a local guy that does my work for me. I took him the car with the headers on it and the stock muff in place. I gave him the y pipe, merge and cutout and took pictures of torched's stuff with me. I am no good at exhaust work. Ground clearance is better than stock and I'm on Strano springs. I am using a SLP dual/dual muff and don't seem to have any rasp. I haven't driven the car that much yet.

I have a CMS 4" exhaust and I like the sound a lot. It has a 3" y pipe with flowmaster merge to single 4" with magnaflow muffler. It even fit without panhard relocation although it is pretty close and does rattle sometimes lightly.

Here's my setup. 3" mandrel bends, 4" flowmaster merge, 4" DMH cutout, and reduced back to 3" to mate with stock catback.

While a lot of those look awesome, it doesn't seem you will be able to use a drive shaft safety loop.

I want to redo mine as well but I'm not willing to give up my DS safety loop.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

The midwest chassis driveshaft safety loop will clear any exhaust system, as it forms to your tunnel. The merge PatG used was a burns merge, a very high dollar piece.

Nice!!!
Dude, your tires are on fire!

Videos are always hard to tell, but it sounds deeper than mine does. I debated for awhile to do this, now I'm pretty stoked. The reason I got a cutout is so it WOULD sound like ***! WOT is great! Scares old ladys and makes babies cry. It's cruising at part throttle with it partially open where spewing *** is getting old. I just want a cleaner, deeper note and hey, if I pick up a single HP, it's just a bonus.

I'm debating about keeping/tossing the dynomax muff idea. The Hooker catback is pretty quiet if I want it to be (like if CHP is behind me). I just can't deal with the machine gun pulsing rasp.

I'm not too concerned about clearing anything. There seems to be plenty of room... I think. Trying to find pics to see. Too lazy to get under the car today.
