Default eBay smooth bellows

Does anyone know if the smooth bellows works with a 90mm throttle body? I currently have the stock coupler which works fine but its just a 40 dollar mod that is supposed to add a little so I figured I would get it.

heard smooth bellow is a waste. Maybe more throttle response that u won't notice. Go fill up ur gas tank.

Apearance mod, should work I believe. Also won't hurt any performance that's for sure.

Yeah OP search fernco on here and you will find how to do your own cheap! Some people say it fits bad however or looks a little cheap.. you decide. Cant get too much worse looking than an accordian though

stock bellow with MTI lid and K&N(new poly mounts)

ebay smooth bellow(same as SLP)

lid doesnt cover filter with it on...and I don't think trimming will solve it.

that piece of coupler you have on your lid is not needed thats why it doesnt fit. on air lids they go over the maf sensor dircetly

I thought of that but the lid doesn't fit the maf without that coupler..maybe if I trim the coupler the bellow will fit?

I trimmed about as much as I could from the coupler...and it fits better but it still isn't sealed...I guess I'll have to trim my brand new bellow if I want to try and make it work

SLP lids work like that. I have a whisper lid that uses the coupler. The whisper and mti lid look like the same style.

So his lid needs it I think, BUT ... the maf should slide all the way through the coupler until it touches the lid. Still you dont free up as much room as sliding the maf into the lid like an SLP

I had to trim both the bellow and the coupler for it to work.

I just ordered one of those for my car. I hope it fits. My maf goes into my MTI clear lid. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Mine arrived today and it is to big on the MAF side, but can be clamped down. Hopefully it will seal. It is also to long. I guess I'll be doing some trimming to. I contacted the seller. Hopefully they will contact me in a timely manner before I start cutting it up.
