MAP Sensor/Vacuum Fitting
The large plastic "fitting" that goes in the back of the intake...the one the MAP sensor sets in and the brake booster line and a/c lines attach to. This is a large round fitting that cannot be removed without damage by my understanding. However, mine spins around if you twist it. That cannot be a good seal. How normal is this and should I address it?
Thanks.

You are right sjsingle1, you can't access a straight shot through the throttle body opening. The floor braces are in the way. Those were put there to prevent objectionable noise believe it or not, and it's possible there are early manifolds without them. But not any LS6 manifolds.
