Default Dynomouth + LTs/ORY

i had some exhaust leaks that needed to get welded up so while the car was on the lift i had a nice long Dynomax bullet welded in place of the little 10-12 inch resonator. The car is still obscenely loud of course but honestly, the bullet DID take the edge off the sound. theres still some rasp but MUCH less than with the SLP "shotgun" piece of crap that was on there. sounds much better...

i highly recommend this to anyone with the infamous LT/ORY/LM setup who wants to keep maximum flow and have the nice loud sound with a little less rasp and popping. BTW the muffler costed me 35 bucks.

Replacing the resonator in the SLP LM with a dynomax (or in my case, a Borla) muffler is a definite upgrade in sound quality! Especially if you drive your car daily in commuter traffic. I say go for it, you won't be dissapointed

Just bought the 12' Dynomouth bullet myself. I hope to have it installed this weekend. I know its gonna be ALOT louder than my SLP Dual Dual I have now.

Mine is still ungodly loud, and all the people in my complex complain including the apts across the street. I have the 18" Bullet in.

I have this combo and don't like it at all. Too much drone at highway speeds and an annoying, raspy, farting sound at about 22-2500rpm. I'm gonna go Magnaflow, or true duals. It does sound nice (and LOUD) at idle, tho...

I could tolerate the volume if the droning and rasping weren't so bad. I might have to suck it up and pay for true duals out the back...

I love the sound of my Borlamouth! It got rid of the notorious drone of the loudmouth in my car. The Borla was expensive, but it cured the characteristics of the exhaust note that I didn't like the most - the rasp and the drone. In fact, I am considering getting an electric cut out because sometimes I miss the rowdiness of my old Loudmouth setup LOL

I'm going to install 2 12" bullets on my LM. I plan to leave the resonator alone and put one bullet on each side of the "split" when it dumps over the axle. Hopefully this will cure some of the rasp when I install my Jet-Hot LT's, and ORY.

Jbird, I was thinking of doing the same thing but adding only one long where a stock muffler is normally placed. My car was wicked sounding before the new engine went in, but now it is DRAG car loud I can't go anywhere without pissing people off. I want to get either the dynomax welded round 2.5in and out or the magnaflow of the same dimensions, but I am stuck with which one to get. Anyone know which will sound better? Magnaflow or dynomax welded?

I considered the 18" version also, from what I understand, its only a little quieter than the 12".
