Heads ?
I have a 98 t/a with ls6 intake, lid, Lts, cutouts, 3600 yank, ported tb, cam (232/236 .595 .602). What are some good heads to go with these bolt ons? I will be driving this car on the street a lot and I dont want to break the bank. I guess Im looking for the bang for the buck. What do you guys recommend, and How much would they run complete?

There are guys that get really good results from a set of stock 243s. You can get them for under $500 easy in the classifieds. Do you have a HP or 1/4 mile goal? If so you might want to search the Dyno and Drag racing section for people with your cam and heads to see what they're running. Great thing about this site is there are tons of people here and there's bound to be a H/C combo out there that uses your cam.

i heard good things about the 243's also, i would like to know what gears you are running and what are your quarter mile times cuz i have the same setup minus the cam, just curious to see what it would gain me cuz i'm ordering that next

Yeah Ive heard the 243's were good but since I have a very healthy cam, Im thinking about going with PRC 5.3 stage 2.5 heads from Texas Speed. I still have the stock 3.23 gears as of right now and have not got it tuned Im waiting until I have everything on the car.

On a budget I would say the TSP setup. Ive had those heads on 2 street vehicles and they produce great torque for the street. Since the lift on your cam isnt too high, you can have them mill them to a safe cc size to squeeze a little more compression out of your engine
