What to do with my exhaust
Well I just got my 383 installed along with the Longtubes and ORY. Now like many other my LM1 catback is insanely loud. It sounded great with my stock motor and the Mac mids and catted y-pipe but now there is no way I am going to keep it. Now my options..
Should I just swap out the LM1 resonator and get a Borla XR-1, Dynomaxx, or LM2? The one I like the best is the Borla but I have not heard a LM2..
Should I keep my LM1 and add the High flow cats on the new y-pipe?
Or should I do another catback all together?
I have been on LS1sounds the last 2 hrs and I like the way the Magnaflow catback sound but also like the way the Borla sounds and I love the looks of my SLP slash tips..

If you want quiet and good sound, I like the Hooker Aerochamber. If you just want to install a muffler into the existing piping, Borla XR1 though I am not an avid fan of the Borla sound.

I'd get try magnaflow bullet first...that will give you an idea of what all the other style bullet mufflers will sound like..and if you still don't like it, get a new catback and keep the bullet just in case the next one is too loud...a catted y would of also been a good option in your case...lose a couple hp for alittle better sound control is alway's a plus since everyone hears your catback...

Since you all ready have the lm1 catback I would think about the power flo conversion, now if ya don't have a cme it can look weird, looks great on tas , but if ya don't tuck them back far it does look out of place, but as far as sound goes it sounds a lot meaner and better than any magnaflow or hooker catback and has 0 rasp, ask detoxx about it that's what he runs,

Thanks everyone for the responses..
I have 4 choices I am looking into right now.. 1.SLP Power flo as I heard the videos of Detoxx's car which it sounds pretty freaking bad ***..2. Also looking at a local 4th gen junkyard in Philly were they get alot of the SLP Duel Duel Exhaust setups as well.. 3.There is a guy who wants to trade straight up my LM for his Magnaflow catback.. 4. I also have my old High Flow cats that I can always throw back on..

Went with the Duel Duel SLP catback. There is a local Junkyard in Philadelphia that has nothing but C5/C6 Vettes and LS1 F-bodies. Got the Catback for 150.00.. Not bad. Car sounds amazing with it.. Not to loud and not to Quiet..
