Hmmm, this sounds like a good idea.
I have a SLP Powerflo exhaust (essentially a loudmouth with dual mufflers at the tips) and I love the sound, but it's just a little too loud for my tastes. So I'm going to measure tonight and order up a powerstick to go in the intermediate pipe. Hopefully it'll help out a little bit.
I'm wondering if putting a pair of shorter ones just off the headers would also be benneficial or if the rasp comes from the ypipe merge.

Hey TORCHD.
1...When your lt ory combo was done, besides the rasp, was your gmmg overall alot louder/higher volume tone?
2.....And when you added the powerstick, I know it got rid of the rasp, but did it quiet the whole setup down or just get rid of the rasp?

I'll add a little bit, I have LT's and ORY and the GMMG. I have a Powerstick in my intermediate pipe and it is still really loud. The car sounds good, but I just got two Magnaflow bullet cats that I'm gonna add to the Y pipe to tone it down some. More than anything though, I'm tired of the fumes. So if you still want it loud, the Powerstick will calm the rasp and you'll still be pretty loud!
