msd coils!!
i noticed better throttle responce in my car when i installed mine, people can say what they want, i am very sensitive to subtle changes in my car, i even notice its a little slower when i change the oil as the oil is thicker..
Faster after a waxjob too?

Some stock LS1 coils have issues with a miss-fire in the higher RPM ranges. Truck coils would be the more reliable option though. Same benefit for a lot less.
And I've read on here that the MSD coils don't last long.
I've read the thread of the truck coil gains. I've read the thread too where a sponsor tested it and zero 0hp gains. I think they were having some issue with em too.
Dyno, these days..
i enjoy the msd line.. i have had the lsx started since it was out.. amazing torque.. never a issue, the plug wires.. top of the line. great product.. an the coils.. well they have a lot of possibilities..

these coils also have a extra plug in for a special unit coming soon for ls motors.
right? I was wondering what that "extra plug" was when i got mine 5 years ago. and they are just now coming out with what ever the hell goes in the "extra plug". I haven't had much luck with MSD wires, 3 sets over a period of 5 years.
I will never buy another MSD product, unless it a distributor or ignition system on my 78 T/A, MSD is a complete waste of money on LSX's
anyway OP..... Thanks for the break down of all your MSD products

it's your money to waste, and it's your car, so, as long as your happy right?
