feels laggy after header install
my ws6 feels laggy since i put on pacesetter lts with a tsp y-pipe. is it because of the 2 o2 sensors that are no longer connected? or is it because it needs to be tuned? its connected to an slp lm and sounds great with open throttle.

He is stating that the throttle cable could of accidently been hit or nudged and the tb blade is no longer opening all the way up when u go wide open throttle.
Have someone go in the car and press the the accelerator wide open and u look under the hood and verify it is hitting the bump stop.
This will have no effect on performance it will just set a check engine light.
Make sure all spark plugs are not cracked/broken. Also make sure all wires are secure on the plugs and coils.

Mine felt laggy also after I put header on until I installed a converter and did some tuning. Not sure if yours is an automatic, but if so, once you put a converter in it will really wake up.

You lost some low end grunt and gained mid/top end power. Do a 2nd or 3rd gear pull to redline. It should pull harder up top. I assume a stall would help get you in the powerband, but I'm no a4 expert.

i would have someone sit in your car and give it full throttle with it turned off, check to see if the blade is opening all the way and hitting the tab on the outside of the throttle body, when i put on my longtubes i tried disconnecting the throttle cable by removing the tab and it knocked it out of adjustment therefore not getting full throttle, after i adjusted it back it revved alot faster

Funny, I never had any lost power issues on the low end of my car until I put a cam in it, but didn't really lose any power, the power just started later in the rpm range. If anything I think it would be a waste to tune it for just headers unless that is all your going to do. Most Header cars only put down around 330whp to around 350whp.
