Default Who makes that reducer ring for the 90mm th-body on the 102mm intake?

I remember seeing a ring that goes into the front of the 102mm intake and reduces the inside part down to flow with the 90mm th-body? I was told it gained a lil power too. Anyone know?? Thanks. Mike c.

How can an air intake reducer make power!!!!! you really need a bigger intake pipe & TB to suit your 102.

All it is is a ring about an inch thick. you put it just in the front opening of the fast 102mm and then you bolt your 90mm th body to the intake,it's make it the same size. that way you don't have this big gap that was ment for a bigger th-body. it only makes everything the same size in the front spot. the rest of the intake is normal. I spoke with the people who made it,a long time ago and they said it gained power do to lining it all up. I'm sure it does not gain over a bigger th-body. I do not want to buy a 100mm th-body to maybe gain 5hp from it for the money.

Vmax makes them. You can get them direct from them or contact Mike Norris at Norris Performance.

I wouldn't say it makes power, it "corrects" it. Without the adapter, the are could have a but of a tumbling effect after the TB when it reaches the larger 102 opening which causes turbulence. IIRC. But there have been debated on this too.

There was a thread on this in the IV room. I'll see if I can find it.
