where does this go??

Default where does this go??

hey guys. in the midst of putting the last pieces on the engine. have this bracket tho and me and my buddy cant figure out where it goes for the life of us. we were thinking maybe somewhere on the egr unit. any ideas or if you know pls help. thanks

Looks like a part to the Alt bracket.

ill have to check tomorrow. my car is at my buddy house in his garage. no room here for the project. its probly something obvious...

it is the part the bolts to the block and the back top right (when looking from the front) of the alternator, i will take a pic of mine if i can reach it

its un-needed anyway...just chuck it, as you see mine isnt even bolted in, i am gonna upgrade to the 145amp truck alt anyway, and this bracket is not needed for it.
