Anyone using one of these X-pipes?
Looking at finishing my dual system. Found a couple universal parallel x-pipes for a good price. Curious if anyone has used one of these X-pipes? I'm curious if the center is just an open section or is it still 2 side-by-side pipes with a merge connecting the two? I know different setups make different sounds. I'm thinking this one will merge the exhaust and make everything sound a little bit smoother..

And then I found this one, you can clearly see this one is two side-by-side pipes connected and not just one large open center section. But the outlets are closer, and I'm trying to fit two SLP LoudMouth II bullet mufflers (the mufflers, not the resonators). Nothing a good welder can't fix though..

1. Does anyone maybe have any pictures of the inside of the 1st one?
2. Would these 2 flow or sound any differently? I imagine they would, slightly.

Well anything is better than my broken cutout right now. I'm dumping half my exhaust through the cutout, and half through the LM2. I have a 2nd LM2 muffler. As far as I know, I will be the first one on here (at least with video proof) of having dual LM2s through an X-pipe. I just ordered the top one because it has a little bit more gap between the pipes, I'll need that extra space for the large LM2s

I used one like that to turn my tsp oryp into true duals. I basically just cut the y off the merge and welded this to the pipes and run dynomax bullets off the end of the xpipe with turndowns. It did get rid of all the rasp and sounded AWESOME but was just too loud for a dd for me. It will definitely get you noticed...

^ that's what I'm planning on doing. Just cutting off the merge and adding this with dual Loudmouth2 mufflers. The LM2s are kinda tame. But I'm going to have mine ran out the back over the axle, so it will be a little quieter than dumped mufflers..

Got the Lawson Xpipe in today. It's completely hollow on the inside, unlike for example the Magnaflow x-pipe where the pipes kinda meet in the middle.. I'm interested to see how this will sound compared to my buddy's setup with Magnaflow X and bullets
