Default Stock SS catback?

I am want to run headers ORY and SLP dual dual catback. I am having trouble finding a SLP dual dual catback, so my question is could I run headers ORY and stock SS catback for now till I find a dual dual catback? Also has anyone ever done this setup before? If so how did it sound?

I know a few people who run headers with a stock catback. It will be just fine just know that by keeping the stock muffler in the exhaust system that it is going to be a restriction if your looking for maximum HP.

Yes you can run a stock catback, yes it would be a restriction, look in the parts section, see a few slp duals on there from time to time

I have the SLP DD catback on mine and so debating on what to do. I want a catted y with LTs but heard it'll just sound completely stock so heard it's way better with ORY if you have the SLP DD. I wanted to stay catted cuz almost all the aftermarket catbacks with ory sounds so obnoxious but since this slp dd is real low key, think it might sound real nice with a ory, still thinking about it. And a reason why I'm staying with my SLP DD is cuz there's something negative to say about every catback and I really love this slp DD and want to keep the original look together with better lungs (headers)

If u are looking for an SLP Dual Dual I have one that came off my 1998 camaro ss with about 80 miles on it. The only problem is there is NO I-pipe or NO over axle pipe. It is just the back half of the system with the stock tips welded on . the only thing i did was I polished it so it almost looks like chrome. Just send me your e-mail address and ill send u some pics. I was looking to get 150 shipped. Let me no. Joey
