Default cannot get the last bolt/stud in my new headers

ok i bought hooker longtubes, i also went ahead and purchased the ARP header studs. every one went in nice and easy. except drivers side back, the car had shortys when i bought it, and that last bolt was missing. now i know y.
any ideas?
i know its probably stripped, but i dont care if i strip it out even more, because them heads arent staying on there forever.
but i cant even get a bolt started to turn it.

You could try retaping it. Probably going to be a pain in the butt doing in though. Does it leak? If not, why put it back in?

^ Just run an ORY and open type exhaust on it like a DXD setup.. no back pressure so you won't have to worry about it leaking.

it leaked with the shortys on there. but all the bols were loose.. i dont know if it will leak with that bolt missing, i have studs and brand new OEM steel gaskets...
it would be a pain to retap it.

Go to napa and ask them for some red rtv. Its build for exhaust. We just put it on my dads car had some leaks and now sealed right up. I know it won't help the bolt problem but if you can't put a bolt in it then the rtv will help.

angle drill and easy out?

i know there's not much room, but you might be able to remove what's left of the bolt without pulling the head. prob just gonna have to try different ****. i have worked on a ton of ls cars and never had this issue. anything you do in-car WILL NOT be easy.

i'd guess the chances of it leaking are very good. i've never had luck with any header that didn't utilize all of the bolts. i had a truck and other car both that leaked because for whatever reason there was a bolt missing. i do, however, think that the headers for these cars are much better than what i was using 10 years ago, so you might be all right...simply gonna have to do it and find out. good luck with whatever you do.

how far in is the bolt, what I did was take a dremel with a cutting wheel on it and cut a flat line through the bolt....yes i did have to touch the actual head slightly but nothing major. The I used a ratchet with a flathead screwdriver tip and the bolt came right out. Much better then dis assembling the entire top end. Put the header on adn bolted up, cant see it, and it functions 100%.

btw my bolt was justa bout flush with the hole and we couldnt get a vise grip on it.
