Default Review on my P/P Throttle body from Sponsor!!

Not sure if this is the right section, sorry if its not, but I recently sent out my throttle body to have it ported, polished, blade brace removal, powdercoated, ect ect. 408trans_am had a deal going on in the classified section for $99 and I jumped on it. The add is here.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...body-sale.html

The throttle body looks AMAZING! Everything that was polished, was polished to a mirror finish. Very professional quality work. I sent it out on a wednesday and I had it back that following monday. 408trans_am is a great guy to work with, alwasy responded very quickly to my PM's and had a very fast turn around on the product. Id recommend this service to anyone who doesnt want to take a chance on screwing up their TB, or doesnt have the time to mess with it.

As far as performance, I can definitely feel a difference in throttle response! And I'm sure the Porting will add a little hp, especially after I get my cam in and intake installed!

Thanks again Tim (408trans_am)

BEFORE

AFTER!

All the pics were taken from cell, so they arent the best.

Any pictures with the blade open? I thought that was the whole point, was trimming some of that bar down?

I believe its called the half shaft mod, where the front bar is removed and the bolts are cut down on the back. these both have it done to them.

i dont have any of the blade open, the blade wasnt knife edged. i wanted it to be, i just think it got overlooked, but no biggie. it probably wouldnt of made a huge difference anyway. and yes it does have the half shaft mod done

Thats a damn nice P/P job, i've seen some people hack throttle bodies up trying to do it themselves. That quality is worth the money, looks great!

Looks amazing! You really should look into a catch can, the TB in that before pic is showing some serious oil getting into the intake.

You can add a catch can anytime. There's a couple different ways of going about it. It's a simple install and takes maybe 15min if you take your time. There's some good write ups on here about it.
