ok time for the long story i have a 99 must be a early 99 because it has a 98 wp, i know this because there are 4 bolts on the pully and when i pulled the pump off there are several bolts on the back of the pump which let you acess the internels of the wp so it is a rebuildable 98 wp but gm has no record of this so tom morn im calling gm with the gm # off the back of the pump, i was just hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Yep just got off the phone with gm and it is a 98 ls1, and they no longer make ls1 wps at all. all are supercieded by ls2 wp now. that's why my thermostat dosent fit either. Watch out ls2 wp here comes the dremel :-)
