Default LPP headers

Does LPP still make stainless headers for the ls1 f bodys? On there site I see them listed for trucks but no cars. They seem to be the cheapest of the quality stainless options. Any venders carry them?

They are currently out. I would call them to see if they will be doing another run. I'm pretty happy with mine and they went in really easily, just had to grind down the K-member on the driver side a bit. You can check on Ebay for them though, they use to sell on there as well.

LPP doesn't make anything. They take eBay headers and sell them for more money. Go with a sponsor.

Ok maybe Ill just go with the Pacesetters then. I would like stainless but can't justify spending $1000+ on a set and y pipe. If my car was a jem maybe but its not

LPP does not take ebay headers and sell them for more money. Yes they do have ebay sales as well. But the headers sold through LLP are much better in my opinion compared to the "ebay" headers. They actually use a descent merge collector. They look like copys of Kooks headers that have been cheaply reproduced. Ive had Kooks, ARH, and now the LPPs. The LPPs are the worst of the bunch but the. Price is right.

If I were to buy headers over again, I would definitely get TSP's 1 & 7/8" headers, or the LPP. But LPP is out, so TSP . Can't complain about my Pacesetters. Used them for many years on my old LT1, and my LS1.

I belive TSP is either sold out or on back order right now. They are not on there website anymore. Plus I dont ever plan on going with more cubes so 1 3/4 should be great. I really mulled this one over and originally planned on going with the stainless works setup but god damn its $1000 just for the headers and y pipe. I know you get what you pay for but if I get the pacesetters instead I can get my cam swap done at the same time. I think ive decided to be a cheap **** and go with a budget build, after all the cars all scratched and dented and has 135k so big deal if the headers get a little rusty lol.

My pacesetters w/ tsp y pipe have been great for 1.5 years. Im looking to redue my whole exhaust with 1 7/8 stainless headers, 4" y pipe to 4" catback. Or just use the tsp duals.

How many years did you get out of your Pacesetters before replacing?

Texas Speed is switching to stainless steel, so once they're ready you should be able to get 1 7/8" SS headers for ~$500

Actually, the company that makes the ebay headers also make LPP's headers. I know this for a fact since when I bought my ORY I accidentally received a catted y instead with the ebay's name brand stamped on it.

I had about 2 years on my 97 LT1, sold those when I put an LS1 motor in that car. I put a set of LS1 Pacesetters on that motor, transferred those headers to my 01 car when I bought it, and it's been another 2 years on these. Haven't replaced them yet, but probably will get some TSP stainless 1 & 7/8" headers when I get some heads.

not true, ebay headers dont have velocity merge like the lpp headers do and also do not come with a drivers side exhaust hanger on the ORY to help with the banging on the floorboard.

Also if you go to their website it says they will have more back in stock by the end of the year....

I have LPP that vibrate like crazy. I have original mounts so those need to be changed.
I think I will just pay someone to do them.

I have LPP headers for the last 8000 miles. The only problem I have is the collectors leak and where the y pipe goes together. I think I need some new clamps
