Default PCV valve, anyone have a picture of this??





on my 2000 trans am my PCV valve is very "rigged" i tried to look at this but i dont understand what goes where?
i have an idea but im not sure where the PCV vavle actually goes.

On the front passenger side front directly above part# 241 is the PCV valve it's in the first 3-4" of the PCV tube assembly, it's in a rubber boot.

hmm i guess ill just got to the dealership tomorrow and order the hole thing and change it all. im pretty sure mine isnt right... it cant be lol

dont waste your money on a 100$+ new stock hose........LS6 valley cover !!!!

Funny, I just got back from Autozone. I spent about $12 and I'm going to make my own.
Some fuel line a new pcv valve a brass T fitting and a rubber boot for the pcv from the Help section and tomorrow I will put it togother.....real simple.

block off the porton drivers side valve cover and ones on intake. go with a pcv catch can u install from passenger side cover to inlet to catch can and out let to port on tb and thats it get one with drain **** n be done simple and easy

well mine has a rubber boot on it now and it very shitty looking and leaks... if u can try to take a pic of ur set up? thx either way

this is a great idea , but i cant do this by wed. for test and tune.

I just pulled all that **** off mine and have it venting to atmosphere and have had it that way for a while now. I dont have any oil useage anymore either...

mine looks kewl......and i dont have a mile of hose wrapped around the engine......there is a baffle inside the VC....no PCV

I believe the point trying to be made though is it's still a PCV, which is faulty by design for these cars to begin with....

The guy deleted his posts. I was answering him. He asked about price for an LS6 valley, then went on to price compare his 12 dollar set-up and the end-all be-all valley cover. He said he'd give me 70 bucks and I install it.

Make sense now?
