Texas Speed 1 7/8" are going to be released in stainless soon, they said the are going to try and keep the price at about $500. That's probably the cheapest, best fitting, stainless long tubes you are going to find. You will just have to wait until next month when they are released. What are your current mods?

No real current mods besides an SLP lid which is the biggest POS and has never fit since I bought it 4 years ago. The car has 154k on it but had the motor rebuilt at ~96k. I didn’t do it myself but the cam is similar to stock and the heads were ported out a little. The car is running like **** right now. SES has been on for weeks. Bank 1 o2 sensors are ceased up in the bung holes and could not be changed about 1k ago, bank 2 o2 changed. Now have bad cat code bank 2 and o2 codes plus DTC reader and random miss fires.

My plan is to get plugs wires and headers. Then bring it to a custom exhaust place in Hamilton, NJ where the guy quoted me roughly 1200 for a 2 high flow cat system, labor included. Then also get some type of a tune..

I would love to learn to do this type of work myself but Im finishing up college and have do not have the proper tools or time to do all of this work myself. I need this car to last me another year or so before I put her away and store for later use.

Any opinions are much appreciated.

I cant wait for those. I doubt they will be able to keep them at that price though.

Buy the catted y pipe when you get the headers and you will have to get the 02 extensions with it also but yea with my tsp headers off road y pipe and o2 sensors the long ones and clamps shipped 860 bucks ended out getting it all welded

I'd say the better option is getting the vette rear 02's, instead of spending money on some extensions.

Wow, this is the first I've heard of tsp making ss headers. What about a ss y pipe? Kind of defeats the purpose if you still have to run an aluminized y pipe...

LPP if they'll do another run, very inexpensive and have good collectors. (LaMonte Performance Parts)

Solid. That's just me though. I didn't buy my car for comfort. It vibrates at certain RPM's, but at least I know nothing is moving and stressing the tailshaft of my trans. (Have poly trans mount as well)

Maybe we will get lucky and they will make a ss y to go along with the ss lts.
But to tell ya the truth I would be happy with just the headers being stainless. The headers are worse than installing/uninstalling y pipes or duals.
I need 1 7/8 ss headers
