I think for a 4" outlet you would need to go with a Flowmaster merge

Ordered mine today. My Y was a "custom" one that basically looks like a T haha. It is WAY too raspy for me so hopefully this will help it out.

I followed him home today and heard it from the outside and it sounds amazing. One of the best sounding cars that I have heard, definitely money well spent.

I am a proud owner of a magnaflow merge and it made my car sound so much better. No rasp!

Bringing this somewhat back

Noob question but finally.ordering a magnaflow merge

Should I wait to ditch the merge that came on the pacesetter Y untill I get the LT/ORY installed? Or do it now uninstalled, and just take it to the exhaust shop and have them cut and weld?

If you wait until the install you might be able to tuck the whole y-pipe closer to the body and minimize any possible clearance issues. I'd still show the shop the new Y-pipe and the new merger you want installed a head of time, so that way there's no unwanted surprises with the install of the new merger.
