shift light help!!!

shift light help!!! i bought a summit racing shift light part number sum-g2945 followed the steps that i saw online hooked it up like the instructions said pin 10 white wire bla bla bla so i set it up for 8 cylinders and nothing 6 and still nothing 4 cylinders and know it gives me a random flash set the shift light to 3k just to see if it works and still random flash how do i set it up!! thank you
I think with our engines - you need it at the 4 cylinder setting. This isnt the best place to ask, I would have a mod move this to the stereo and electronics forum...the search function works great and Summit racing has great customer service...
