Heads?

I have a 2000 NHRA Formula with LS6 intake, 228/232 LS1 Cam, Long Tube Headers, Magna-Flow exhaust,FLP Trans w/SS3600 stall and underdrive pulleys. The car makes 400 rwhp and it is great. I want more power if possible, what heads should I get with this current combo and will my rearend hold anymore power? Just trying to keep up with newer corvettes?

Ideally, you're going to want to spec your heads to your cam. Plenty of members around here have taken their 10 bolts to 450 rwhp without issue. Do you have gears?

My advice, call TSP. Those guys are awesome. Can't wait to implode my bank account when they get their 1 7/8 stainless headers back in stock!

AFR, TFS or 243s done by AI or tea get my vote...I also have a set of AFRs 205s that will work great on your setup forsale now...

you should hang with a stock c6 now.

are you talking z06s and ZR1s? if you id get heads and a 150 shot.

I have beaten the C5's with no problem but now I want to try a C6.... I have the stock 3.23 gears. I just want a good set of heads, my car has 55k miles on it and totally reliable which I like because I do take it out of town from time to time.
