Texas Speed Catted Y-Pipe Ok so im installing the catted Y from texas speed. i have it all bolted together and to the header already. Only thing is that its low and that bracket that holds it up towards the back where the catback and ypipe meet up it doesnt line up to the botom of the car anymore. anybody know if there is another bracket that i need to get or it doesnt go on with this Y. thank you
Most people simply remove the Factory Stamped Tunnel Brace when they install an Aftermarket Y-pipe and never look back.
My Bro has the Texas Speed ORY on his SS. There isn't really a way to make it fit without it rubbing the merge on the Y, or mangling the brace.
If you feel the need to have a Tunnel Brace, you should look into getting an Aftermarket Piece that is constructed to give more clearance for larger exhaust.

I have a TSP ORY and hit rubs aswell but to calm the vibration down I simply took some heater hose sliced it and put it over the edge where it was hitting...
