AIR delete, just need a little help.
Does any1 have a link or thread that I might of missed?
-Get some AIR block off plates for the manifolds/headers. (search ebay)
-remove the hoses that you disconnected from the mani/header
-trace them back to the air pump which is driverside in front of the wheel. you will need to remove the plastic air dam underneath to get to it. Either leave it or remove it, your choice
-you will need a tuner of some sort to disable the air system and turn the code off.
-profit
-there is no hose going to the back of the intake when deleting the AIR.
-Made my own block off plates, cut some steel sheet metal, used the old gaskets and put some xtra gasket maker on there.
-All done!
-Dad walks into the garage, looks at air pump confused and says "What the f*ck is that?"
-I say, "It's not important..."
-lol
