Default EGR vacuum line?

Hey guys/gals, I just swapped my headers and was removing the egr and AIR. When I was removing the part located on the back drivers side of the engine that has 3 rubber hoses going to it and 2 vacuum lines, I snapped one of the vacuum lines, does it go anywhere that would have ill effects on the car?

Removing the EGR and AIR are for emissions, removing them will put the SES light on, but will not affect performance in anyways. I just removed mine this week. The big rubber hose your talking about, yank all that out, it's all for the !AIR.

I did take the hose out, I was wondering about the small black vacuum lines that run from that object down the backside of the engine

Not sure if I'm following you. The rubber hose from the AIR pump is big fat hose running along the driver side fender, then runs to the driver side of the engine and splits off into 2 more hoses, one going to the driver side header, the other going along the back of the motor to the passenger side header. All that gets removed, is that the one your talking about behind the motor?

I am trying to email the pic to myself, but google is being annoying. So I will describe it more. It is about 3 millimeters diameter, and rigid. Very easily snapped.

you can block it off at the "T" or block it further up on the hard line

So I gotta find something that will block that off at the T there. All the rest of that vacuum line broke off.

I just trolled around under my hood. do you mean the T that is under the ecm?? it is WAY far to be reaching the intake? or am i missing something here? mine has the T thingy under the ecm then a small hose runs to the back of the intake...(both the ls1 and ls6 intake have them this way)

one line goes to the HVAC.....the other to the AIR...........if you eliminate the AIR......you only need 1 line
