I weighed the GMMG and it's exactly the same as the stock cat-back. Don't know if that's good or bad.

Like someone already said I would think the LM or the GMMG would be lighter because they don't have a muffler but probable not a noticeable difference. But if your going for weight, you could always attach bullets after the headers and dump them, although that would probable be really loud

You might get some rasp or popping due to not having a muffler but not that bad. It really won't hurt effect back pressure in terms of performance since all of the mufflers on aftermarket cat backs are basically straight through designs anyways.

Lightest catback is the SLP Loudmouth. But how on Earth anyone could hate the sound of true duals is beyond me. If it's because they're too loud, you'll be in for a rude surprise with a Loudmouth...

I'd go with the LM2 since it isn't quite as loud as the LM1, and the weight difference between it and the LM1 is minimal.

Do what? GMMG has 2 mufflers and a lot of extra piping IMO. Its really a balance here, weight or sound. You are gonna have to give somewhere.

I have an early version of a LM1, the one that's welded from SLP and a better grade of stainless, that I'd trade ya.....

What mufflers are on the duals?

LM2 placed back at the stock muffler location.
Sounds great and the assembly is very light.
