Default Coupler/Bellow Question

So I recently bought a new lid/maf/coupler and I wanted to run something by you guys.

My lid, when installed correctly, does not line up with my throttle body. I know the throttle body sits below it but I didn't realize that throttle body actually is slightly off center toward the passenger side of the vehicle.

FTP 98mm lid, 85mm maf, and stock tb. I was trying to use a coupler I got off WS6store, not the SLP one, and it doesn't fit very well and I am using the stock coupler until I can get this figured out. I tired adjusting the base of the airbox housing by sliding it toward the passenger side by it doesn't really have much room for adjustment.

Did anyone else notice this? Did you do anything to correct it or just make it work as is?

Lol, I was noticing the same thing with mine last night...

What I did to line up mine (SLP bellow) was turn the coupler left of right till it line up pretty well. It's not going to get "perfect" but it'll get it close.

I looked at my buddy's 01 firehawk and his was the same way, he just had his lid on wrong and the tabs were hanging out of the passenger side notches. You would think with all the scrutiny over parts for these cars the manufactures would put a little bend in the lid before the maf.

Anyone else have this problem?

Mine's the same way, and I have the SLP bellow also, same fix to.
Either get a SLP bellow/coupler or get one similar with a slight bend in it.

siliconeintakes.com might also have what you're looking for. They have a really good selection.

I use Turbohoses.com

I use the 22degree one. It works perfect on my 85mm MAF with a 96mm TB on a FAST 102 setup with a FTP 98mm lid.

I just put this one on and it works pretty good. It's a 22* bend though and it still needs some trimming to get perfect. If you cut it go slow and trim off only a little at a time. It may take awhile to line the angle up but you'll save yourself the hassle of ******* it up and buying a new one like I had to. Around $40 shipped.
