Intake swap emergency

I'm swapping my LS1 intake for a LS6 and after I pulled it off I noticed the parts guys only gave me one coolant plug for the back. I can't get another for a little while but I really need my car. Can I modify one from the old coolant line? I was thinking of cutting one off the old line and sealing the end with some RTV and a screw or something like that. Would this be an option or am I dreaming?

Somebody please help!

Yeah your best bet would be to cut off one of the plugs from the old coolant line and epoxy it shut. Make sure it's FULLY cured before putting it back on the car......

I bought some 2-part metal epoxy where you have 2 tubes and u mix them, should this work?

If you're talking about JBWeld, that'll be fine. Like the other guy said, make real sure it's good and cured before putting it on the car. 24 hours would be good.

And you'd be surpised at what can be fixed with JBWeld. I've heard of people fixing cracked dirt bike frames with it and the repair holding up permanently.

And don't forget the surfaces that the jbweld is to be used on have to be super clean. Brake cleaner is good for that.
