I've got the stainless version of these on my car. They fit really well. The only extra step I had to do was remove the short part of the steering shaft.

What catted Y-pipe do you use with these headers?

Ordered the coated ones for $30X.XX, Gunna have to see how they fit. Appreciate the coupon code above, saved me $40.62

Now to order a 3.5" to 4.0" merge, 4" cutout, then 4" to 3" reducer.

Anyone know what pipes I should order to have a place make my Y pipe? Was thinking of buying mandrel bends since the local shops don't have a mandrel bender..

Oh... and I need clamps too I guess, I wonder how many?

Are the headers "slip ons"?

I'm debating on if it will be worth it to do the y-pipe in 3.5in considering the extra cost and hassle. Might just do two 3in into a 4in merge.

Hell for the time being might just get some reducer cones and throw on two dynomax 18in bullets with turnouts for the time being.

Just ordered the ceramic coated ones for '00-'02, thanks for the heads up and the free shipping code! What would be a good Y-Pipe to go with these?

I went with the TSP ORY, the only thing is you're going to have to buy 3.5"-3" reducers... I ordered mine from TSP for $20, but I'm still waiting for them to arrive in the mail because for some reason they didn't get shipped with the y pipe

Let me know how that works for you! This was honestly an impulse buy, I couldn't believe the prices! I don't even have a lid yet. Did you install the headers yet, if so how easy/painful was that?
Thanks

Not yet, all of my **** is just scatted though out my game room... I look to my left and they're just sitting on the floor, I'm just waiting for those damned reducers so I can finally start the install. I'm so tempted to just throw my headers on and leave them open for a day or so but my car is my DD and I don't want to risk screwing up my front o2's.

Btw and suggestion on the TSP ORY?? They gave me U-clamps to hold the pipes together but to me it doesn't seem like its going to be a air tight connection.

Seems like everyone is going to reduce the headers to run a 3" Y pipe... Still not sure what I'm going to do.

The car is not lowered so 3.5" Y will clear, I was even thinking about ordering some of that oval piping.

The guy who told me about these headers said I should go with a 3 1/2-4in y pipe but my car is Low already as it is, and with the LQ9 Ironblock My car will more then likely be lower lol

That TSP ORY seems like a good price for being stainless, did you order these reducers: http://www.texas-speed.com/p-2310-ho...t-reducer.aspx? Are they stainless, and is it $19.99 a piece, or is that for both?

Looking forward to hearing how the install goes, and possibly a sound clip? I can't find any videos on youtube with these headers...

Two that I found, unfortunately they are cammed so it's hard to judge what my stock internal would sound like! haha.

Most long tubes sound very similar. IMO.
Why not share some dyno sheets or track times of these longtubes.
Im interested in these longtubes for the performance not the sound.
