Default New exhaust causing trunk rattle. Can't find it.

I just had the quad tip Magnaflow kit installed in my TA. Combined with the cam and longtubes, it sounds phenomenal. Unfortunately, I'm now getting a rattle in the hatch area somewhere from the vibrations. Is there anything in the hatch that is common to rattling? It sounds very thin and plastic like, which is 90% of the trunk. lol Ideas? There currently isn't a license plate on the car, so that's not it.

maybe try unscrewing the rear plastic panel by the rear speakers and see if anything is loose in there.

Could be the cover that hides the deep section of the trunk. It is a moving part.

My rattle was a couple of coins, washers and some bolts in the spare tire well along with the rear speaker panel against the sail panel.

It's the heat shield over the muffler. I chased that noise a long time and once I found it I think I pulled it down and put foam between it and body.

I did just discover that the over the axle part of the exhaust is sitting on the panhard bar. Maybe once I move it away from that it'll quit sending so many vibrations into the trunk. I like the foam idea though. I feel silly for not thinking of that. I was just sitting here wondering how one would stop rattles from the heatshield, short of removing it.

My over the axel part of the I pipe was touching the frame and made noise. I tried wedging a small piece of rubber hose between the frame and pipe, worked great but would eventually fall out. Solution: I took a screw clamp and ran it through the piece of rubber hose, then wrapped/tightened the screw clamp around the I pipe so the rubber hose was in place, secured by the clamp. Never a problem again.
