Maybe you read it wrong because I am absolutely correct.

FAST make two upper lids; (Grey)
1) Car LSXR
2) Truck LSXRT

FAST makes three lowers; (Black)
1) Cathedral; common between LSXR and LSXRT
2) L92/LS3
3) LS7

You can mix and match ANY lid to ANY lower. You just cant get runners for every combo.

FAST makes four runners;
1) LSXR Cathedral, car
2) LSXRT Cathedral, truck
3) L92/LS3, car only
4) LS7, car only

Better yet I can understand how my word may not hold as much weight as you would like, call FAST aka Comp and ask them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I think he meant was that the RT top will fit any RT bottom. Not RT top to fit an R bottom. Runners are different.

That would be true but he said ANY top will fit ANY bottom and the runners are the only thing different. Well my ls7 bottom did not fit a Rt top. I know the runners are different but the Rt top is only made for cathedral port heads bottoms.

Nice! It looks a lot like the 6.1 hemi intake

[IMG][/IMG]

I'll have to look at getting one of these for my 383 truck engine.

I've had a ton of people say the same thing, haha.

If you have the hood clearance, like in a truck, this is the best FAST intake there is! But for F-body guys I still wouldnt cut up my car for the extra power.

Finished....

Thought I would update this thread with a few pics of one of the truck intakes I worked on lately. Looks great.....should work as good as it looks!

The first is a comparison of the truck and car intake.....quite a difference in the height of both as is obvious in this photo

Im helping a customer build a pretty hot 434 CID engine with Mamofied AFR 245 heads and one of my ported FAST truck intakes.....I bet this engine is going to make really good power and torque. Its a few months away from being on the dyno but will update when the time comes.

Cheers,
Tony

Ahhh, the hell with it. I've made up my mind.

I live in South Louisiana and already ditched the AC..... I think cutting the cowl is the least of my worries. When I finally DO pony up to get a fast, the LSXRT it will be.

I'm guessing I lose my wiper motor too? I wonder if there's a way to relocate the motor or fit a different one.....

Thanks for the pics, Tony.

Did you have to space the k-member down in order for it to fit?

Does anyone know if the LS3 intake runner in the picture is available separately? I would like to purchase one for a intake manifold project. Thanks

Does anyone have an idea if they will make a rectangle port "truck" manifold?
