The ones on the rack are m16x1.5 and m18x1.5
If ur making your own lines. Summit sells fittings for ps.
Oring fittings m16x1.5 to -6
And m18x1.5 to -6. So u can use -6 line to make hoses.
Fittings are like 16$.
If this is for a 98-02 fbody
U will need
M16x1.5 to -6 fitting for ps pump resevoir
M16x1.5 to -6
M18x1.5 to -6
For steering rack
And about 5ft of -6 ps high pressure line. The low pressure side can use a hose clamp on the ps reservoir side on the nipple on the reservoir.

Less than a 100$ if I plan on running your route for lines for turbo/headunit clearance, etc.
I make my own lines when build hotparts. But I also use a different power steering pump and remote reservoir I came up with and eliminate the stock fbody ps pump.
Looks cleaner, more clearance, remote reservoir. Steel pulley, ps pump bolt access without removing pulley

If I remember right, if you block off the holes you can't turn it because the pressure buildup in the rack when you turn one way to the other has no way to escape. If it were mine and I were doing away with it, I would just leave them open...

A section of hose to each other should b fine. I've never had to run w/o a ps pump in a 4th gen. But I have seen many people do so on here.
I just always run the lines different. I hate those stock metal/rubber lines.

Loop it with hose. Don't leave open, don't cap off. Use hose clamps, 3/8 or -6 hose will work with the clamps
