To be honest I'd love to have Kooks TD especially with the tax return coming. They look awesome, sound great and I'm pretty sure the fitment is second to none. But for $1k, I could spend it on fast, electric water pump and few other goodies, I feel it'd be wiser if I just go with custom fab or something cheaper.

Anyone that has Hookers super comp 1 7/8" with 3" collectors feel free to chime in, I want to know how's the fitment, ground clearance(the car's lowered), and how do you like the sound.

For everyone thanks for the input

I wouldn't have a problem spending the cash for some good heads.

It's just certain things that I can't justify spending 1k on, like headers.

I'd say Kooks TD's are really worth it if your already planning on getting a premium cat-back and y-pipe setup. Your not going to spend all that much more going with the Kooks. I called around for custom TD's 3" stainless out the back over the axle. And when I actually found someone that could do it they were $400 more than the Kooks. Sure you could save some going with aluminized though.

Here's my option based on research I've done so far and inputs from you guys.

Keep in mind that all I care about is the sound(minimize raspy and drone), and maximize power, and fitment(not banging floor board, tranny ) I don't care about the look.

1. ORY with cutout and using my old muffler setup
2. TSP true duals and ask a muffler shop to fab pipes over axles for mufflers.

Which one would you guys prefer if you were in my shoes

The ORY is going to cause rasp, cut the highflow cats off the mid lengths' Y pipe and weld them into the TSP ORY and it will sound awesome.
