Dyno or die!!!! lol but seriously.

Looks like mine but mine is powdercoated black. Why did you go with a 4 bolt flange?

Random ? but what tip is on the dremel you got there? I'm gonna punch mine out to 85 and was just planning on using a dremel.

Looks great man can't wait to see the results.

It will be going on the dyno next week if I can get it all together, if not I will be waiting until early march. I used a 4-bolt flange because I have not found a 90+mm TB with 3 bolts (you can see a comparison of the flanges). We have used a ton of different dremel and die grinder bits. We finished porting out the intake snout, currently it measures 91.87mm. I might grind out a little bit more, but I dont know.
Once the NW 92mm TB arrives I will look into it more. We are going to finish porting the runners and get them cleaned out and smoothed.

Today Im going to try getting the runners cleaned out and hopefully my TB will arrive. That way I can get the setup installed and hopefully hit the dyno next week.

Thanks, it seems most people dont have any idea about experimenting to try and make something better than the way it comes out of a box.

Today we have been able to get the runners cleaned up a lot. Also went into the snout again to try and get the stupid emissions port cleaned up and a smooth transition into the plenum. Im still debating on how to get the casting cleaned up inside the plenum.

Sorry about the fuzzy images, the garage camera was having a hard time focusing on the ports.

I port matched the intake to the gaskets thus far. When I remove the other intake then I will finish gasket matching the heads.

First off, fantastic work! That thing is a work of art! Hoping you get some FAST like gains once you install and dyno tune her. If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have invested in the fabrication of this intake?

I bought the intake for $340 (shipped), the flange was $35, and it cost $100 for the tig welding (I only own a mig). I also have a NW 92mm enroute. The only other costs have been sanding drums, carbide cutting bits, and some some rotary file attachments. It has taken about 3 days of solid grinding and sanding to smooth everything out and clean up the runners.

Seems like a solid investment for that amount of cash. I'd love to see you make some power increases that'd be comparable to a FAST.

I am hoping to see some decent gains, especially with all the other mods that are done to my car. Im also trying to figure out some reasonable price to make this intake for some other people, I can not believe how many people have PMed me in the last 2 days asking a price and when they can get it done.

Just goes to show you what some people will put you down for doing without even thinking about it , others will see things your way &appreciate them. I,m picking up an old ls1 manifold soon to cut up & see if I can make into my cross ram setup. Should also be interesting.
