I have a stock 02 ws6 ta. Can i get 2 slp lm1 resonators and have my muffler guy run them off the stock y pipe into duals out the back? Is that possible?

Yeah you'd just need a flowmaster merge and weld it in reverse & weld the slp loudmouth mufflers to it.

What size merge fits on stock y pipe? Should i get the 3in lm1 or the 2.5in lm1?

Stock size exhaust pipe on 98+ cars is 2.5", I'm not sure about 93-97.

I'd shoot for 3" bullet mufflers and 3" y merge and have a exhaust shop adapt the stock 2.5" pipe to the y merge.

This way you have reusable mufflers should you decide to get a 3" xpipe and 3" long tube headers later on.

I've had an LM2 on stock manifolds, cats, and Y. It's a pretty tame system IMO just because it's pretty quiet at idle and doesn't really get loud until WOT. But on the highway at 75 I can talk easily to anyone in the car and listen to the stereo without any problem. I've heard LM1s drone more with stock exhaust so I strayed away from that.

If they ran out back you still get drone inside? I know if the dumped youll get drone like no other cause i did that with my truck lol. Back windows rattle at 70mph with flowmasters 10s

I had a LM2 with hooker headers and an ORY, my car sounded great IMO.
Droned a little, but nothing too bad. Mainly because I took out the back seats which added to the noise level
