The resonator is just a straight thru pipe so you might as well just remove the muffler and leave it at that. Best bet is to just replace it with a cat-back. There are plenty of good systems for not too much money. I went from the same set up you have to the LM1 and now have the Hooker and have been pretty happy. Plus trying to incorporate the resonator into stock piping would be a pain.

^ I agree with going for a cat back... if you're on a budget, get a TSP rumbler catback. Very cheap but nice sounding cat back. $250, stainless steel, 2 dynomax bullets if I remember correctly.

The tsp is nice, if you're on manifolds and cats still and going to be for a while LM1 is great. Keep an eye on the classified section too, there are some great deals sometimes.

Just buy a loudmouth catback. They are very cheap.

Like they said ^, just buy the whole LM catback. Maryland Speed has good prices on them. The resonator it self would be a pain to put into the stock system just because its intended to go between the y-pipe and the over axle pipe. It wouldn't work in the stock position behind the axle. LM1 is definitely the best way to go if you have stock manifolds and cats.

^ That car sounds like ****, lol. To each their own. The TSP Rumbler is aluminized steel and has 1 dynomax bullet, and doesn't come with exhaust tips for that $250 price. The lm1 or lm2, is stainless steel and comes with 3 options for tips and most sponsors carrry them for $380 give or take a few bucks. If thats what your looking for it's your best bet. Trying to hack up you already half hacked exhaust is just going to look like **** and sound worse than it already does. Good luck.

Yes GMMG did go out of business. However, GMMG never actually built the exhaust. It was built by a private individual for Matt Murphy at GMMG inc. While the company "GMMG INC" has gone under and did a few years ago now, you can still contact the original builder through his website and have him send you one hand built and made to order.
