It looks nice, but from messing around with my CAI
I can't see how those big ol' bungs and hoses will
even fit without cutting structural sheet metal.

Nice welds. Will the lower airbox fit over that though?

That's exactly what I was thinking. I hope it works out for you though, good luck with it! It's always good to see someone try something new.

Just to let you know, if you're talking about the front opening on the sides of the black piece that reads "camaro", then the 4" hoses won't fit unless you cut some metal off too. I barely got some regular 2" hoses to fit in those holes, and I had to squish the hose a little. Just an FYI.

those holes are huge! what are you talkin about? i think you still have your bumper supports in. i took mine out and have PLENTY of room. its alittle thiker than the FTRA so it will fit just fine.

well i got it on and it looks BAD ***! i tried to snap some pics but its too dark out side.I got on it a couple of times and i could feel a huge difference (but unfortunatly it feels like that after i wash my car too). so i will be getting it on a dyno soon. And to the track this friday.
I used 4" dryer hose all the way down. The only thing i have left to do is get some 5" to 4" A/C duct hose to fasten it securely to the bumper holes.
Oh and by the way i don't have bumper support and no windshield wiper fluid resivour and thats the only way this will work.

I see, I don't have the fluid resivour, but I do have my bumper supports in, so that might be why I don't have the clearance for this. Post up some pics when you can.

spray the hose behind the grill with some flat black barbecue paint or something like it. Other than that it looks great!

That looks like a pretty neat set-up. I'll bet you feel the gain up top. I'd do it, but I don't have the sack to cut the radiator support. Is there any way of doing this without cutting the metal? Like I said, I already have the fluid resivour taken out.

You Camaro guys are lucky that you have those big openings behind the grill. Us Pontiac guys have to be a little more creative, but I wish I could have done the dryer duct ram air.
Here's how I did my ram air.

Ive never been a fan of the dryer duct thing or dryer couplings but I guess if it works, then do it.
