145 amp or 200 amp?

Default 145 amp or 200 amp?

would i be better off to same some $ and get the 145 amp http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ALTERNAT...item19cb7a21e0 (im guessing this is the right one)

my car still has the factory stereo, but i do have underdrive pullies. i know me and many other people have had problems out of the stock 105 amp unit. thanks in advance

well it all depends on your upgrade (in the future) you plan on, if you think your going to be doing things to set under high demand go ahead and spend and get the 200 now. better safe than sorry.

And if it is not the truck alt (bigger housing for a bigger stator, armature and more diodes) you will not see much if any amperage increase at idle anyway. The truck alt will fit 99'-02 fbodys, I have one it puts out more amps at idle then the stock one did at 4000rpm.
That looks like the truck alt, I got my 160amp from here http://www.qualitypowerauto.com/catalog.php They confirmed the spec in font of me on there test bench.

the link shows a CS130........which is the stock size housing.............not the truck sized AD244......trying to stuff 200 amps into the stock housing is like making a fat chick wear a super models mini skirt.....it just dont work to well.....and the price.....they must use a lot of china **** parts in there......quality parts aint cheap....trust me quality is worth the price

and the 145 amp is a AD244........but at that price......still more china parts
