Default Moroso Bullet Muffler

Anyone ever use one of these, do you think it would be quieter than a dynomax. I need something to tame the sound levels coming from my dynomouth. Just installed headers and ory and it is unbearable.

if you are wanting to quiet down the car a bit then i would get those i guess. but they are still not that quiet. i went from the bullets to the spiral flows and switched back to the bullets 3 days later. the flow is horrible through those things imo. felt like i lost a half second in the quarter.

so to test this theory i raced one of my friends on the street because i new we were neck and neck before from a role. after the moroso spiral flow he left me like i was standing still. when i switched back and raced him the day after we were back neck and neck. so imo these mufflers are a waste of time and money but hey thats just me.

I doubt a simple muffler change would warrant him leaving you like you were standing still. Especially since the muffler is straight through in the middle.

lol i have an auto. there is a big difference between a bullet muffler that is straight through and a moroso spiral flow that is straight through.
for example:
*a bullet you can stick your entire hand in the muffler (well at least mine)
*a spiral flow you can fit like to fingers between the straight through part the rest is surrounded by the spiral (hardly straight through)
but this is just my dealings w/ the muffler all i know is it made a night and day difference w/ the moroso off my car.

Im guessing temperature changes or bad gas or something had more to do with it. I couldnt even feel a difference when I put on my air lid, but you can notice a huge difference going from 1 bullet muffler to another that is slightly more restrictive.

I have seen the Morosos and they are not restrictive.

I have them sitting in my garage too, I put them on my header collectors and they didnt quiet the car down THAT much. That tells me they arent very restrictive.

I just ordered one to replace the resonator on my LM for my upcoming header install. I will have it installed this weekend and then hopefully have the car dyno tested next week to get a baseline before i put on the headers to see what the LT's net me. Anyways, I'll let ya know how much the sound is affected.

My car has mac mids, ory, and a Gmmg. It was LOUD!!!!! If you drove it under 2,000 it was bearable. Anything over was Im going to go to jail. It sounded like a nascar but for around town and highway cruiseing the rasp and drone were to much to bear. I put the Moroso in and No more DRONE, NO more RASP. and I can drive around and shift at 3,000 and still not think Im going to go to jail. It worked great!!!! Would highly recomend it again

The Borla XR1 5" round is straight through and significantly quieter than the bullet. I put it in my I pipe and it quieted the exhaust by about 1/2 and eliminated the rasp.

Finally got some pics if you would like to see the inside of them. Very neat design if you ask me. Practically straight through.

I painted them with Duplicolor 1200 degree paint since they come with a bare steel casing.

And for comparison, here is the inside of a Dynomax Bullet:
