How do you adjust set screw on TB?

I had my LS6 and ported TB on my cammed car for awhile and I adjusted the set screw up some to try to cure some idle issues (probably wasn't a good idea). Now that its on my bolt on car I've got a little bit of a high idle. For a while I thought I just had a vaccumm leak from swapping intakes but 3 cans of starter fluid later I'm convinced I don't have a leak. The car idles fast. Sitting still it will fall back to the 800 ish position but driving along and just throw the clutch in it doesn't want to drop below 1500 rpm sometimes. Its high enough sometimes when you let the clutch out at low speeds you can feel the car pull forward slightly. I tried adjusting the screw back down but I'm sure its not where it was. How do I go about setting it back to factory?

If you still have the high/hanging idle issue adjust the set screw 1/2 turn to close up the tb blade a little more. Now do a tps reset again, repeat until issue is gone. If for some reason you go to far and 1/2 turn seem to be to much, then turn the set screw back 1/4 turn, and do a tps reset, again.

Ok the car was at a body shop getting painted for about 4 monthes. What little I've drove the car since it doesn't seem as bad. I hooked my diablosport to it to check codes last night and I only had the normal EGR, rear 02, and fuel sender codes. Now this morning I checked it after doing the reset and I'm getting a P0122 TPS low voltage code. What would cause this? Could it be from the reset?

Yea I cleared them while the car was running. The only thing that instantly came back was the EGR. I haven't moved the car out of the driveway since. It seems like it idles lower but the only real way to tell is driving it. Would the TB need to be in a exact spot to be right or will the reset allow it to adjust as it needs to keep the idle right?

The only thing you want from the set screw is to prevent
the blade from pulling into bind against the throat wall at
high vacuum, closed. So back it out, let the blade snap
shut, and then turn the screw in until you just feel the
blade respond, barely.

Hi,
Another little tip! Often times the cable on the tb can need some help with issues similar to yours. Tuning as you know, is very important for maximum gains and performance. Have a blessed week.....Capt. Jim

Ok this problem came back. No code but still the high idle. If I just adjust the set screw until it hangs, then go slightly forward and do a tps reset I should be good right?

Just realized,
you can use your Diablo Predator to help you set the throttle position. First completely back off the set screw(no contact), then do a tps reset. Now hook-up your predator turn the key to the run position(don't start it) and let it boot up, and then select the Diagnostics menu. Then choose the Real Time Data menu, then scroll down through the list until you see throttle position %, it should read 0%. Now go adjust the set screw until it just reads 2%, not any higher. Lock down the set screw, disconnect your predator, and do a tps reset again. I did this with mine without having any hanging idle/stalling issues.
