still can't get the drivers side header in. it keeps getting caught up on the bellhousing or the LCA

Try removing the engine oil filter.

my car has been lowered. you think this has something to do with it? i'm going to raise it though, just haven't did it yet.

I had the same issue. I ended up taking out the driver's side motor mount and mount pedestal and jacking the motor up. It made it slip right in.

Just take the bolt out n lift it only take about 5 extra minutes bro

By the way when you are lifting the engine, keep an eye on the power steering hose on the bottom of the reservoir, I got really lucky and mine was barely on before I saw it. You don't want that kind of mess going everywhere lol.

Man, I couldn't get the pedestal bolts out of the block. plan was to take out the pedestal and MM as one piece. so, idk..

The MM pedestal was in the way of the header getting up there all the way. wasn't reaching the steering knuckle yet. if it was, i would have taken that out too
