Default Slammed 01 Formula: Need Headers That Won't Scrape!

Right now my tunnel bar sits exactly about 2"-3" off the ground and I scrape/throw sparks even on the freeway when there's small dips....

Is there anyone who makes a header setup that's tucked in enough similar to stock manifolds?
Or I'm I out of luck?
Thanks in advanced.

The only thing I can think of are some shorty headers. I also want to say that either ls2 or ls3 stock manifolds flow just as good as some shorty setups. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

When you're running a 3 inch round collector on the header all headers are going to sit the same. Maybe you should look into an oval setup

Here's an idea, put a different set of springs on it and problem solved. These aren't Honda's or VW's.

I would recommend BBKs, plus their Y is only 2.5" so that helps quite a bit.

You'll want the BBK LTs & ory-pipe, and make sure you install poly motor mounts so you can tuck it up as far as possible without banging the floor board. There's also a few modification you can do to tuck the BBK Y-pipe up even further.

Is Your tunnel support bar stock, or a low hanging aftermarket one?

spend the money on a set of american racing headers. thy are so close to the floow on my 67 camaro i had to use band clamps to attach it to my exhaust. you cant even see them from the side of the car.

and yes, they make them all that high. my friend just put a set on his second gen camaro and its the same way.

BBK... No shorty or mid will flow equal to a LT.
