Default Finally fabbed\installed custom 3" duals

so like the title says i finally got around to doing it. i am running a sphon tunnel mount torque arm so running these pipes thru there with an x pipe was not easy or fun but i got it done. i used a ebay universal x pipe, 2 dynomax 12" long bullet mufflers, and 3" aluminzed piping from summit. bought a couple 90 bends and straight pipe. also cut up my old pacesetter y pipe to use for the pipes coming from the collectors. also needed 3" slip fit connectors and u bolt clamps. here the pics!!
driver side pipe

passenger side pipe

bullet mufflers welded together

shot of the x pipe, mufflers and turndowns welded up

and an idle clip

Looks really good. Idle sounds great. How "loud" is it inside the car while cruising?

I've been considering doing this instead of buying a off the shelf true dual

thanks alot. its not crazy loud in the car because i actually adjusted my turndowns from the above pic. they are pointed almost all the way to the side of the car to reduce drone and also for ground clearence since im lowered 1.5". it doesnt seem any louder in the car then my pacesetter y pipe and corsa catback was, but sounds so much better and much deeper and it was so wierd driving around in town and not hearing rasp lol

Nice job, further proving that duals with a tunnel mount is easily doable

I have seen them this way, I Just never got around to doing it since the tsp duals do the job. I Just ran into problems getting the mufflers to fit on each side of the pig when in installed the 9 inch.

Right now, I have a pair of 2 chamber flows so I'm not sure if both will fit down one side.

Pics of the system installed under the car please. Great set up, I will be doing this. Hate the rasp from my tsp y and don't want to pay the cost of their duals. This set up looks like the perfect option

hey everyone i would not say it was easy in any way. it wasnt the hardest thing but getting the x pipe and both 3" pipes thru my spohn tunnel brace with DSL was not easy by any means. gettting everything to fit and line up without touching or vibrating off anything was not easy either. i will have to get some pics of under the car soon i totally forgot to take pics of that as well as the custom hangers i made, i was just so happy to finally be done i just put the lift down and started it lol.

my old setup with pacesetter y and corsa catback with lt;s and cam was really loud, but i think this may be a tad louder, its hard to tell. well either way its loud lol. but its very very deep which i looovvveee and no rasp is just amazing lol. wot f'n screams as well!! crusing it doesnt really seem like it drones that much since i have the turndowns i made pointed almost completely sideways(due to ground clearence and for the drone aspect)
