Default header leak

i installed tsp 1 7/8 long tubes on my car late november..i put brand new gaskets on it and have since retightened the header bolts to a tight snug....i have a small leak coming from the front passenger header....my dad suggested running copper gaskets but said they aint cheap....does anyone got any info about if will fix it and if it's worth it

If you installed GM MLS gaskets then you've already got the best gasket you can use.

I found that after replacing my headers I would have to tighten them down after several heat cycles due to expansion and contraction due to heating. Might have to do it a couple of times before it fully goes away.

We recommend the factory MLS gaskets with all the headers we offer. While we can get other brands we ALWAYS RECOMMEND GM MLS gaskets to customers for these cars. OP feel free to give us a call if retightening them again doesnt cure the problem. We are happy to help.

My OEM gaskets started leaking unfortunately, so I got the felpro gaskets. Not a problem since.
