Default tsp true dual install problems!

Got the headers on without ant major issues but when I go to slide on the tds passenger side fits perfect but drivers side is way off. Can't even get it to slide on the header bc its hitting the floor board so bad. Def gonna have to do some modding on that side. Anyone else have this problem

Yeah it hits anyway you put it on that side. Only thing I can think of is to mod that pipe keeping the flow as good as possible

IIRC, someone else had a similar issue and it was simply upside down...

Just an idea, it's worth a shot!

The tsp 17/8s. I got them back in October so I know I didn't get one of the flawed x merges in the tds that recently came out

It's just gonna take some simple modding of the pipe I think. The headers went on nice other than being extremely tight

The headers and duals are MADE to work together. Post some pics of the issue and we can prob guide you through it. It shouldn't require ANY modding with the TSP headers being used.

Got it together guys. Only thing I had to do was cut about 2 inches off the drivers side pipe and it bolted up perfectly. It was just that much too long for some reason

Thanks for all the suggestions. Everyone kept saying it would be too loud but I don't think its any louder than a lm1 just has a deeper better sound without the nasty rasp

The bullets. I think it sounds good. Is it very hard to get the air pump completely off the car since its no longer serving a purpose lol

It's pretty easy. There are a few write-ups on it, just do a quick search.

I'm assuming either your car isn't a 2000 or you already removed the EGR, since you installed the TSP headers. Also if I'm not mistaken, you might need to cap or remove the AIR assembly in order for it not to make some weird sounds.

EDIT: Also, good choice on the bullets!

It's a 98 so everythings taken off other than the air pump. Egr is removed. My buddy had a plug he gave me to plug the hole where the hose goes into the intake behind the tb. Quick question about that. The piece that comes out right there with the hose, the little rubber piece that comes off of it, should I use that with the plug or just put the plug in there without it? I'm not real concerned about that bc I got a fast 90 that's gonna be going on the car in about a month just wondering while I am still using the stock intake
