Default Dynatech SuperMaxx Headers??? OBD-II Compliant!!

Does anyone have these installed on their car? If so, please share your results/feelings on them. Are they new? I did a search on yahoo and not many companies are selling them. Also, these are the first headers I have seen to be advertised as OBD-II compliant (converters that is). Would any complete header package with catted-ypipe be OBD-II compliant?
Thanks in advance for the replies?

Any header/cat system should not trigger any codes. The FLP system would probably be a better system because you can swap the cats with the straight through pipes in the kit any time you want. You will just need to run O2 simulators whenever you do that so as to not throw a code (tuning can address that issue as well). The FLPs cost about what the Dynatechs do and are stainless as well.

All OBD-II compliant means to me, is the cats have the
downstream O2 bungs. Nothing else about the headers
matters to OBD-II. Now, if they went so far as to give you
a righteous CARB EO number (bothered to test, and pass,
and do the paperwork) I would be impressed and go buy
some. Like that'll happen.

Yes, I think any catted system *SHOULD* be OBD-II compliant, that's the whole purpose. Doesn't make it public roads legal, though.

it probably is obd2 compliant, but more than likely you will fail visual inspection, because of the cats being moved from the original position..unless you find a shop that is generous in overlooking the visual..but smog wise you'll be fine with having cats...

just go to the dmv in wilmington, the guy who does the inspection is probably close to 400lbs, not a chance in hell of him checking under a car as low as an f-body, he nearly had a heart attack trying to sit in my car to plug in the scanner. they didnt even open my hood or anything, as long as youre not throwing codes youll be fine with lt's.

Hahaha. Thats too funny. I know exactly who you are talking about. I had this same guy in June when I got my car inspected. He had a rough time getting into my car also. They didn't open my hood either. I think I am gonna wait until after June '05 to get headers, since I have to get my car inspected then again. Then I won't have to worry about inspection for two years.

Thanks for the replies.
