Fast 102 question

do they honestly only come in that gay *** primer color? I checked a few sites, and on one, had to select a porting program to even be eligible to get it painted....took it from $799 to 1400 dollars. That color is just so horrible. ill keep looking.
are you limited to only the 102mm TB? when is it necessarily a good idea to step down to the 90-92mm throttle bodies vs the 102.
my setup includes an iron 390....D1SC pushing as much as I can get from it, and 237cc PRC heads. Looking for 750-800 with e85.
not sure which TB will be the best...and why.

Paint it yourself for $20 bucks. A can of Rustoleum is all you need. As far as throttle bodies you can run a 92 or 102, but the 102 is only a few bucks more, and on a boosted app the less restriction the better.

Now your talking sense. I might get a can that is heat resistant, but you can get great results if you take your time.

You're getting a performance part that you only see when you open your hood. I really wouldn't care if it was barbie pink, IMO.
Many guys paint it themselves for around $30 (paint & tape), as said before. I have a stock C.I. Motor with the 102/102 set-up, and made better numbers than a friend with a 90/90 setup.

Peak Speed Shop can offer you the option of having the FAST 102 manifold's grey lid powder coated flat black to look like the stock manifolds. The total cost with this option, unported is $1099.99. You can choose to have it ported for $250 more.
Powder coating provides a durable finish that stands up over time to the heat of the engine bay. It is baked in an oven at almost 400 degrees F. You can go to our website for more information and to order at http://www.peakspeedshop.com/FAST.php.

It turned out glossy!
Here is the link.

Can someone give me the link to the ones already painted black on ebay for just over a grand. I really dont feel like spending 3-4 weeks on this again.
I have a place that powder coats all my stuff locally (nice job too) I may just take it apart and send it over there taped up and let em go at it, and just do the lettering by hand once its all said and done.
So far best price on the intake I have found is 799 shipped on ebay. I think I am going with the Nick Williams 102....which will also need to be powder coated.....yeah as stated above the intake will only be seen when the hood is open. Since my car is semi street-drag-show.....it has to look as good as it runs. I am after a few trophies, and a photo of the month award.
Doing fuel rail covers possibly depending on the rails......and SSB fuel lines, billet rails, and black anodized covers and AC delete along with a wire mod, and some cleanup. I was going to repaint the bay, but it looks so new still I said to hell with it. Its black so.......ill have some pics up once we get this new motor and trans in. The fuel and intake will come shortly after followed by a tune.
Thanks for your help guys. I am going back to work, this **** aint cheap.
